Donna Kafer is an Arizona native who has served the Arizona State Legislature and their staff for over twenty five years. As the appointed chaplain, part of her work entails offering prayers as requested for floor session, providing spiritual encouragement for members and Capitol staff, being available for pastoral counseling as needed, as well as acting as a liaison within the faith community when needed and occasionally providing help for constituents.
